The entry of new competitors with the liberalization of ownership, the new consumer purchasing behaviors and, now, the emergency from covidinvite the pharmacy to urgently reflect on the topic of assortments. More incisive selection and choices are needed, as well as analysis skills, scenario prediction, speed of implementation.

OBJECTIVES: to understand how the construction logics of the assortments have changed and how decisions will be made in the future on product spaces and product assortments of the branded industry and what weight the references of the retailer's brand will play.

DESCRIPTION: the construction logics of the assortments will be mapped and how spaces and strategies are changing with a benchmarking also on retailers of similar merchandise categories. In particular, the new product trends and the role of the own brand. Finally, the relationship between distributors, wholesalers and pharmacies will be considered and how the relationship between the actors involved has changed and will have to change to better satisfy the consumer.

The meeting will be attended by Marco Repezza (University Professor and Trade Marketing Expert), and the testimony of Marco Mariani (Marketing Director of Farmacentro) and of Santo Barreca (Unica Development Manager, the Unico Spa network), who will present their case histories.
